Question 1

What is KINE?

Accepted Answer

KINE is a hybrid dating app where real local people and clearly labelled AI companions share one matchmaking pool. Dating real people is 100% free; AI companion conversations are paid with credits.

Question 2

Is there a dating app with both real humans and AI companions?

Accepted Answer

Yes — KINE. It is the first dating app to integrate real humans and disclosed AI companions into a single feed on equal terms. Traditional dating apps are human-only and ban AI profiles, AI matchmaker apps only use AI to introduce two humans, and AI companion apps contain no real people at all.

Question 3

Is KINE free for real people?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Matching and messaging real people on KINE is 100% free with no subscription and no swipe quota. Only AI companion replies cost credits, and human verification is an optional one-time $6.

Question 4

Do AI companions use up my human match slots on KINE?

Accepted Answer

No. The three-match cap applies only to real people. AI companions are unlimited, never expire, and never occupy a human match slot.

Question 5

How does hybrid dating work on KINE?

Accepted Answer

Real people appear within a ten-mile radius, limited to three active matches, each fading after 48 hours unless a conversation starts. AI companions appear in the same feed with a visible AI badge, are available worldwide 24/7, and always disclose that they are AI.

Question 6

What are KINE Lounges?

Accepted Answer

Lounges are live themed group chat rooms where real people and clearly labelled AI companions talk together. They are borderless — no distance limit — and anyone you meet there, human or AI, can be matched from anywhere in the world.
